Directive: 25-25 - Four (4) new Spartan Engines

Operational Information
The four (4) Spartan Engines that have been on order should be delivered around mid-January, 2026. After the installation of the MDTs, radios, equipment brackets, and other miscellaneous work, the engines should ‘hit’ the line approximately in mid-February.
These engines will be deployed to: Stations 7, 16, 17, and 23
The currently scheduled domino effect is:
- current engine 7 would go to 14's (106,401 miles)
- current engine 16 would go to 19's (84,656 miles)
- current engine 17 would go to 6's (71,324 miles)
- current engine 23 would go to reserve status (203,864 miles)
- current engine 6 would go to 13's (109,923 miles)
- current engine 12 would go to 18's (86,494 miles)
- current engine 19 would go to 12's (245,103 miles)
The Reserve Fleet would then include these engines;
- 913 (2015 w/ 203,864 miles)
- 980 (2009 w/ 232,943 miles)
- 982 (2009 w/ 199,238 miles)
- 983 (2009 w/ 236,547 miles)
- 985 (2009 w/ 223,614 miles)
- 974 (2008 w/ 226,038 miles)
- 953 (2007 w/ 253,292 miles)
- 954 (2007 w/ 254,535 miles)
In addition, some older higher mileage rigs will be removed from our inventory.
