To emphasize and clarify the changes in the B-45 Recall Procedure:
Emergency Recall is when:
Emergent conditions exist within the City of Toledo or any of its mutual-aid jurisdictions that TFRD crews are involved in and require immediate additional staffing to assist either at the incident or for normal station dispatches.
Line operations need immediate additional staffing to fulfill community needs and/or contractual requirements.
Notes:
- When recalling for positions that are needed immediately, the ‘Blast’ function in the Vector Scheduling program will be used.
- When recalling for positions that are not needed immediately, normal non-emergency sequential recall will be utilized.
- Positions that off-going members holdover for in the morning are not considered immediately needed since they count towards the minimum staffing.
- Members coming in for ‘Emergency Recall’ now have 2-hours to report to the station.
