Operational Information:

A-Shift has reached the time where the first 312-hour Medic Unit ride time rotation will be reset.

The ‘trigger’ for this reset is that the next A-Shift tour (Friday, December 19) does not have enough scheduled on-duty paramedics to staff the (15) Medic Units without utilizing members beyond their 312-hour limitation.

So, to follow the agreed to stipulations of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with Local 92 and not force members to ride beyond the 312-hour restriction, the rotation will be reset and Friday will start the next rotation.

Tuesday, December 16th, A-Shift will be the last tour for the first rotation and the hours ridden through this tour will either be added to or subtracted from the 312-hour requirement for the second rotation. These calculations will be made and added to the chart found on the TFRD Web after the completion of Tuesday’s shift.
