• Upon further consideration of the logistical issues that were involved with the change in designations for the two new Heavy Rescues and giving thought to tradition, they will retain their original designations of Rescue 6 and Rescue 7.

• Air 1 will now be housed at Station 18 due to Station 12 being ‘browned out’ at times. This is to avoid the delay in response to a fireground, while waiting for another station to have a crew go pick up the unit. Station 18 has a cascade system which adds to the efficiency of this move. The equipment in the USAR 2 trailer has been consolidated into the F550, which created the room needed for Air 1 on the apparatus floor. Normally, one of the two Medic Units at Station 18 will be dispatched to crew Air 1.
