Department members who have been away from line operations for more than 180 days must: * **Track Time Away:** Take responsibility for calculating and monitoring their time off from line operations\\ \\ * **Schedule Reentry Training:** Contact the Training Bureau to arrange reentry training at least 30 days prior to reaching 180 days off the line.\\ \\ * **Maintain Equipment Readiness:** Ensure all department-issued equipment remains in a Report for any additional training and/or equipment fitting as directed by appropriate authority.\\ \\ * **Comply with Additional Requirements:** Report for any additional training and/or equipment fitting as directed by appropriate authority. Members who are unable to return to line operations due to medical restrictions, military orders, or other legitimate circumstances – as determined by the Fire Chief or their designee – are exempt from the requirements during their period of unavailability. Upon receiving approval to return, they must complete all reentry training requirements outline above.
