In an effort to keep as many of the Technical Rescue Team members together at Station 6 for a safer and more effective response, I am directing that HazMat personnel at Station 6 who are also TRT members will not be used to meet the minimum staffing at Station 7 unless no other alternative exists.


Station 7’s staffing requires (6) HazMat Techs with a current physical on-duty at all times. Whenever this is not met with members assigned to that station, members from the stations, other than Station 6, who are HazMat Techs with a physical shall be assigned to relieve into Station 7 for the tour. All members who are receiving CEP money for their HazMat capability and have received a current physical, will be considered eligible for the relief assignments.
